Capital that shows up when the opportunity does.
Vandam Capital Group funds established U.S. businesses against real revenue. Send a short application and three months of statements — Phil Stern reads the file himself and comes back with terms, or with the reason it doesn't work.
- A decision the same business day your file is complete
- Thin credit and existing positions don't end the conversation
- No application fee, and no surprise terms at closing
Business-purpose financing only. A merchant cash advance is a purchase of future receivables, not a loan. All funding subject to underwriting.

Ranges shown describe the products Vandam Capital Group offers. They are not an approval, an offer, or a guarantee of any specific amount, term, or timeline for your business.
A funder that reads the file, not just the score
Automated scoring misses businesses that are performing perfectly well — a seasonal quarter, a young credit file, an advance still winding down. We look at how money actually moves through the account and size the deal to what it can carry.
Cash flow first
We underwrite off bank statements and revenue patterns. Past credit issues, tax liens, and prior advances do not automatically end the conversation.
Fast, and honest about it
Complete files get reviewed the same business day. If a deal isn't there, you hear that quickly instead of being strung along for a week.
Light documentation
A short application and three months of business bank statements is enough to get started. Larger requests may need a few additional items.
One point of contact
You work with Phil Stern from the first call through funding — not a rotating queue of reps reading from a script.
Terms in writing, up front
The amount, the payback, the fees, and the schedule are disclosed in the agreement before you sign anything. No surprises at closing.
Structures that fit revenue
Daily, weekly, or revenue-share remittance depending on how money actually moves through your business.

Established, revenue-generating businesses
Every file is judged on its own merits, but most businesses we work with look something like this:
- At least 6 months in business under current ownership
- $15,000+ in average monthly deposits
- An active business checking account
- A U.S.-registered business entity, funding used for business purposes
These are general guidelines, not eligibility rules. Businesses outside them are still welcome to apply.

Straight answers
Is a merchant cash advance a loan?
No. A merchant cash advance is the purchase of a specified dollar amount of your business's future receivables at a discount. Because it isn't a loan, the difference between the amount advanced and the amount purchased is not interest, and it isn't expressed as an APR. The full purchased amount, the remittance schedule, and all fees are stated in the funding agreement before you sign.
Will applying affect my credit?
Submitting an application does not obligate you to anything and there is no fee. As part of underwriting we may pull business and personal credit reports, which you authorize on the application. We will tell you before any hard inquiry is made.
I already have an advance out. Can I still apply?
Often, yes. Existing positions are a factor in underwriting, not an automatic decline — we look at total obligations against real cash flow. Be upfront about what's outstanding; it makes the review faster and the offer more accurate.
How fast can we actually close?
Complete files are reviewed the same business day. From there, timing depends on how quickly verification items come back and contracts are signed. Many deals fund within one to two business days of approval; some take longer. We won't promise you a timeline we can't hold.
What does it cost to apply?
Nothing. There is no application fee and no obligation to accept an offer. Any fees associated with a funded transaction are disclosed in the agreement.
Do you fund startups?
Generally we look for at least six months of operating history and consistent deposits, because the product is underwritten against revenue. If you're newer than that, you're welcome to reach out — we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth submitting.
